Soul Retrieval
Soul loss is a type of survival mechanism. It occurs when a life event or series of events becomes so painful for a person that in order to survive, a piece of that person’s soul energy splits off and leaves the person’s body. The result is a person with a lower energy state who can tolerate the pain and continue to live. Traditionally, soul loss was often linked to very traumatic events: being molested as a child, major surgery or illness, fighting in a war, or killing another person. Sadly, soul loss now seems almost commonplace in our modern society. Rather than living in harmony with nature, we live in a world of disharmony and chronic stress. Soul loss can occur at any age. The process is very individualized - one person may tolerate a traumatic event with no soul loss, while another person may experience significant soul loss. As soul loss occurs, the person’s personal power ebbs as soul energy departs. Over time, a person’s personal power level can fall very low.
In a soul retrieval, I work in the traditional manner with the client and journey into non-ordinary reality to search for soul parts that the client has lost. I bring back only those parts that are willing to return to be of service for the client at that time. Once I bring the soul parts back into ordinary reality, I blow them into the client’s heart chakra and crown chakra, where they flow into the body’s soul energy. When soul parts return, they bring particular gifts that may have disappeared at the same time as the soul loss – perhaps the ability to trust others, to play, to love.
